Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the My Secret Pleasures app ("the app", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. The app is for adults only.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and sign-in details, or the basic profile Google or Apple shares when you sign in with them.
• Profile: your display name, age, height, gender and orientation, whether you are single or a couple, the languages you speak, your turn-ons, kinks and fetishes, and what you write about yourself.
• Photos: the pictures you upload, including photos sent in chat that can be opened once.
• Messages: your chats, including voice notes, and your messages to our Support Team.
• Location: your approximate position, used to show your city and to find people near you. Precise coordinates are never shown to other members.
• Usage: when you were last active, who you liked, hid or blocked, profile views, and sparks spent.
• Purchases: which plan or feature you bought and when. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see or store your card or bank details.
• Device: a notification token so the app can send you notifications.

Sensitive information

Some of this, such as your sexual orientation, your interests and who you talk to, is sensitive. It is collected because the app cannot work without it, it is used only to run the service, and it is never sold or shared for advertising.

Who can see what

• Other members see your profile, your photos and what you choose to show. They see your city, not your exact location, and never your email address.
• People you hide or block no longer see your profile.
• Our moderators can read a conversation when it is reported to us, to act on the report.

Who processes it for us

• Google Firebase stores the app's data and sends notifications and verification emails.
• Agora carries voice and video calls. It does not store call content for us.
• Google Play processes purchases and subscriptions.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept while your account exists. Photos sent to open once are deleted after they are opened, or automatically if they are not. Email sign-ups that are not verified within the time shown are deleted automatically. When you delete your account, your profile, photos and conversations are removed. Some records, such as purchase records, may be kept longer where the law requires it.

Your choices

• Edit or remove anything on your profile at any time.
• Turn off location permission (nearby matching then stops working).
• Turn off notifications in the app's Settings.
• Delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), or request deletion on the web.
• Ask what is held about you, and ask for it to be corrected or erased.

Age

The app is only for adults (18+, or the legal adult age where you live, if higher). Accounts belonging to anyone younger are removed.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and protected by access rules so members can only reach what they are allowed to see. Verification codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
